Pixel Art self portrait WIP

I've been itching to try making a self-portrait in pixel art. Needless to say, this project will be my most difficult piece of pixel art so far.
After playing around with the outline for a while, I think I've got something that looks pretty good. Step 2 will be blocking in the color, and then finally shading. I'll post my progress!
